AquaBall Drink New Production + Giveaway! #aquaballmoms (sp) #CutTheSugarAB

This is a sponsored post.

Kids love their sugary drinks, but with diabetes on the rise for children, we need better drink options. Introducing AquaBall Naturally Flavored Water – they’re sugar free, enhanced with vitamins, and has natural fruit flavoring PLUS they are a Disney licensee product so kids are sure to find a bottle they will enjoy.

When I first heard of AquaBall, of course as a Mom, I was a little skeptical. Is it artificially sweetened? How safe is Stevia? What other ingredients are in there? But after reading up on it and learning more about AquaBall, I was open to try it as Stevia is 100% natural, a sugar substitute, has 150 times the sweetness of sugar, doesn’t raise sugar levels, and it is extracted from a plant leaf. AquaBall ingredients includes water, 100% natural Stevia, natural fruit flavoring, and vitamins (B3, B5, B6, and C). The drinks are clear so there are no artificial colors. I also have exciting information about the new production below – It will be preservative free!

Taste Test

It was time for a taste test. First, I need to explain that my go-to beverage is usually unsweetened iced tea, lattes, or water. I also have prediabetes so I can’t have sugary or super sweet drinks anymore and really need to watch my sugar intake. To me, AquaBall tastes like water with the flavor packets I used to buy, and that’s exactly what it is, but better! It’s flavored water that has no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors, and has added vitamins. However, the true test is with my kids. I wasn’t sure if they would try it, but my kids found them almost right away, and it was a hit! I’ve also had my friends take samples and so far, I’ve gotten nothing but positive feedback.

Where to find it?

Look for AquaBall in the juice aisle (not water aisle) next to the kid’s drinks. They are still adding to their list of retailers, but for now, they are at Albertsons, Amazon, Bristal Farms, Food 4 Less, Ralphs, Rite Aid, Sam’s Club, and coming to Costco this summer! You can see a full list of nationwide retailers here.

Mom Ambassador

I’m also excited to share that I’m one of the new AquaBall Moms Ambassadors which means I will be sharing more insider news in the next few months.

“The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends no more than 6 teaspoons (25 grams) of added sugar per day for women and 9 teaspoons (38 grams) for men. The AHA limits for children vary depending on their age and caloric needs, but range between 3-6 teaspoons (12 – 25 grams) per day… the average American consumes 19.5 teaspoons (82 grams) every day. That translates into about 66 pounds of added sugar consumed each year, per person… The U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend limiting total intake of discretionary calories, including both added sugars and fats, to 5% –15% per day. Yet children and adolescents in America obtain about 16% of their total caloric intake from added sugars alone.” See more at SugarScience.org.

That’s too much sugar! This summer, let’s take the pledge together to cut out the sugar. (More details coming soon!) I also have an opportunity to win a case below. Thank you, AquaBall Drink, for sponsoring this post! For more information about this product, please visit their website at www.aquaballdrink.com.
