Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel Staycation Two Parks in Two Days!

Most recently the KNOTT’S HOTEL in Buena Park renovated. The hotel is literally down the street from us so why would we stay here? Because… Two parks in two days! When you’re busy having fun all day, the last thing you want to do is get in a car and sit in traffic. Everyone is super tired and a long car ride can be a drag especially for the driver. Walking With Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular Downloadable Activity Sheets

On Mother’s Day this year, we took our boys to Discovery Science Center to meet a life-sized Baby T-Rex from Walking With Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular. While we waited for the presentation to begin, the kids enjoyed running around the Prehistoric Plaza located toward the back of the center where they explored fossil digs. At Dino Quest: Kids can go on a fun and educational scavenger hunt at Discovery Cube Orange County. Jere Lipps, Director of the John D. Family Day: Arcades and Go Kart Racing at Boomers! Irvine

For one of our Family Day adventures, we spent the afternoon at Boomers! Irvine in the arcade and go-kart racing. We couldn’t pass through the arcade without spending some time in here. Deciding what to play first was the challenge. We like arcade games we can play (or ride) together as a family. There are lots to choose from. Queen Mary CHILL Nutcracker Highlights + Giveaway

Last week we attended a media preview of The Queen Mary’s CHILL right before it opened to the public. This is their second annual year in Southern California, and we could not wait! Exploring the ice sculptures in THE ICE KINGDOM is one of our favorite holiday experiences! This year’s theme is The Nutcracker. Remember when the mice were fighting with the nutcracker? Greek Theatre: EEK at the Greek Halloween Event

Halloween is a big month for us. We all over the place, and we loved experiencing every bit of it. As we bid adieu and head into the next holiday season, I’d like to share with you one last Halloween coverage of Eek at the Greek (and a sneak peak inside the VIP Lounge at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles). Families were able to dress up and enjoy activities like costume contests (winners were announced during intermission), cupcake decorating, crafts, treat stations (I didn’t see that many), and photo ops.
