OC Parks: Monarch Butterfly Day Sat Feb 3 – FREE EVENT

Come learn about monarch butterflies in their natural habitat at OC Park’s ninth annual Monarch Butterfly Day! On Saturday, February 3rd (10 am to 2pm) at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, this free event invites families or anyone that wants to learn to get a close-up look inside a netted butterfly enclosure, and you’ll also learn about the plants that attract them. Butterfly experts will be on-site to answer questions. Additional activities include interpretive programs, children’s crafts, face painting and a balloon artist. This event is recommended for outdoor enthusiasts and children ages 4 to 12.
