Dana Point Harbor’s Annual Festival of Whales Celebration + Giveaway!

Hosting their 46th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF WHALES, the County of Orange, OC Parks, and Dana Point Harbor would like to invite families to join the migration ritual celebration from winter to spring with activities both on land and sea for two weekends this month – March 4 & 5, 11 & 12! The celebration includes a sand sculpting competition, Wyland art lessons, whale watching excursions, sailing and stand up paddle boarding clinics, free movie screenings, art at the park, clam chowder cook off, drone and GoPro demonstrations, live music, food, and more!

Dana Wharf Sportfishing – Kids Fish FREE Sundays + Fishing Clinic

We’ve been Whale Watching with Dana Wharf out of Dana Point before, but have always wanted to try their Sportfishing. Did you know that kids can fish for free on Sundays? That’s right! Children 12 and under fish for FREE with every purchased adult ticket at $46 (1 free child per paying adult). Hint: Come early to attend the free fishing clinic right before the trip. Dana Wharf Whale Watching With Kids

Last weekend, we had a “whale of a time” with Dana Wharf Whale Watching from Dana Point, California. Our family was invited to join an excursion and share our experience. Whale Watching is year-round and fun for the whole family! Right now there are Gray Whale migration in the winter, and in the summer there are Blue Whales. Although we never know what we will encounter on the waters, there’s always an adventure that’s waiting to be explored.
