Disney Pixar’s Cars 3 Tour Stops at Downtown Disney June 12-13, 2017 + Recipes!

The Walt Disney Company and Dole Food Company have collaborated to encourage families to make healthier choices with Disney-branded fruits and vegetables. This summer Disney and Dole will debut healthy programs with Disney·Pixar’s CARS 3 theme and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi later this year. They’re taking it on the road with a CARS 3 Road to Races nationwide tour with stops in 27 cities across the county. This week they are in San Diego, then they’re going to be at Downtown Disney in Anaheim next week before they go to Los Angeles! See the tour schedule below!

Dole Family Day Celebrates Their 2016 Rose Parade Participation with Special Tribute to Raul R. Rodriguez #DoleRose

Tournament of the Roses with Family Day! This year they are paying a special tribute to their float designer, Raul R. Rodriguez. Volunteers and their families were seen crushing coconuts that will go on the floats in this year’s Rose Parade competition. Families not only came to volunteer but enjoyed a fun-filled day with facepainting, rock climbing, balloon twisting, photos with Santa and the Rose Court, lunch from food trucks, and sampled DOLE treats like chocolate covered frozen bananas and pineapples. A few weekends ago, we got a sneak peak of DOLE’s Rose Parade Float on DOLE’s Family Day. Did you know they won the last three years in a row?? Pretty amazing right? Watch for the DOLE Rose Bowl Parade Float – Will They Win Again?

We were invited to attend a DOLE Family Fun Day Event for DOLE employees to preview their New Years Day Rose Bowl Parade Float. One family was randomly drawn at the event to ride on the float on New Years Day.
