Newport Beach Christmas Parade of Lights Opening Night is December 19th

One of the most prime viewing locations of the Newport Beach Christmas Parade of Lights can be found at the Marina Park located at 1600 W. Balboa Boulevard in Newport Beach. There is lots of space for the children to run around as well as a nautical-themed playground and a beach. Every year on opening night, they always kick off the event with fireworks. Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. with family-friendly activities including face painters, caricature artists, LA Chargers football toss competition and food vendors. The older my kids get, the more questions they ask! Every year they start to understand a little more that the meaning of Christmas is not just Santa delivering presents, but they still believe. We were pleased to learn SeaWorld San Diego brought back, “O Wondrous Night“. The live musical performance is the story of the birth of Jesus told through the eyes of the animals. The thirty minute show is narrated by storytelling puppet animals who all claim they are responsible for the birth of Jesus. The Sanrio and Tanaka Farms collaboration continues through the holiday season as our favorite farm in Irvine, California has added special weekend tours to see Santa in the Sanrio Village!
