Bowers KIDSEUM New TeamLab Future Park Exhibit + Ticket Giveaway

Bowers KIDSEUM, an interactive children’s museum and learning center founded in 1994, is an extension of the main Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. Dedicated to pre-school and early elementary aged children, it offers a “hands-on” experience for history, art, and culture. A new traveling exhibit called FUTURE PARK: Art & Technology in collaboration with Team Lab Kids, Inc. is coming September 17th and will be here until January 15, 2018. Designed to inspire creative thinking, encourage collaborative play and build and interest in digital technology, this digital exhibit features four areas for the children to explore – Sketchtown, Light Ball Orchestra, Connecting Blocks, and Hopscotch.

Summer Exhibits at Discovery Cube + Ticket Giveaway!

The traveling aerospace exhibition, Above and Beyond, is sponsored by Boeing in commemoration of Boeing’s 100th anniversary. It features immersive simulations, interactive design challenges, iconic historical touchstones, visionary concepts for the future, and inspiring stories from game-changing innovators, past and present. Design, test, and fly your own supersonic jet. Pilot a drone into the eye of a hurricane to measure nature’s fury. Do your kids need to burn off energy? I like to keep mine moving or they will watch TV or play games all summer. Arranging play dates is the way to go, because it makes it harder to get out of. (I feel more committed when it’s on my calendar.) One of our favorite indoor trampoline places in Orange County is Rockin’ Jump in Santa Ana. It is one of the newer ones, and it doesn’t have that overwhelming stinky smell. Part of it is because they make everyone buy their socks (no exceptions). Discovery Cube Moms Ambassador + Ticket Giveaway! #LetsPlayOC

It has been a great pleasure to work with Discovery Cube this past year as one of the Discovery Cube Moms for Orange County. New Location! Lucilles BBQ Now at Santa Ana Main Place Mall! #lucillesbbq

What’s your favorite way to enjoy BBQ? For us, since I haven’t mastered the art of barbecuing, I leave it up to the experts and enjoy it at restaurants like Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. Now with their newest location at Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, it’s super easy for us to get to. We were there recently sampling their menu, and we really like the new space with lots of windows and lighting.
