I sent my friend Jaime to LA County Fair’s Food Preview and this is what she reported… PLUS enter below for a chance to win tickets with parking!
The L.A. County Fair opens tomorrow, and we were invited to preview the fabulous fair food! We started with Chicken Charlie’s. Their chicken kabob really surprised us – it was big and tasty. My whole family really enjoyed it.
This little gem was my favorite thing! The Krispy Kreme hamburger… better than it sounds and I could barely stop eating it to let my family taste it too!
Chicken Charlie’s also fries up Twinkies and drizzles them with chocolate or strawberry sauce! These were a big hit with the kids!
A couple other adventures to try at Chicken Charlie’s are the Bacon Wrapped Pickle and the Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joe!
It was a blazing hot day and these refreshing fruit smoothies from Cornucopia Cafe disappeared fast! They come in Strawberry, Mango and Pina Colada! You can also mix flavors!
The corn dogs from Monster Dogs are the best we’ve ever had! They are sweet and tasty and absolute perfection!
Tasti Chips are a gluten-free food and cooked in 100% pure allergen free peanut oil. Of course I got mine loaded with all sorts of toppings, my favorite being the sweet meat!
The Bloomin Onion was one I couldn’t keep my hands off of! The ranch dip is so delicious!! My daughter wanted to stick her fingers in it!
10 Pound Buns bake huge loaves of bread and then load them up with seven delicious mixtures of cheese, onions, garlic and more! I highly recommend the nutella and bacon…eaten warm.
The big winner of the night might just have been the Brisket Sundae! Underneath all that succulent, juicy meat is a bowlful of creamy mashed potatoes. Top it all of with a “cherry” tomato and you might just be in bbq heaven!
