It’s their 8th Annual Pumpkin Patch at Irvine Park Railroad! Both children and adults are invited to the Pumpkin Patch which is open daily at 10:00 am beginning September 21st through October 31st. I absolutely love the warm colors of autumn, don’t you? Last year we had a blast and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get some wonderful festive family photos to share with family and friends.


The Pumpkin Patch is located inside Irvine Regional Park in Orange in the Locomotive Loop and Miner’s Meadow behind the train station. Thousands of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes fill Locomotive Loop. You’ll be sure to find the perfect pumpkin!

This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include:

  • train rides – 1 ticket
  • hay rides – 1 ticket
  • panning for gold – 2 tickets
  • a child-friendly haunted house – free
  • a hay maze – free
  • a moon bounce – 1 ticket
  • carnival games – 1 ticket
  • cookie decorating – 1 ticket
  • John Deere tractor racers – 1 ticket
  • face painting – 2 tickets
  • picture stands – free
  • The Great Pumpkin Contest – free to enter
  • food – price varies

Free to enter, but prices for activities vary.
Activity Tickets: $5 Each
Book of 15 Tickets: $60 (Save $15)

HOURS

Open Daily
Weekdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
PARKING
$3 per vehicle on weekdays
$5 per vehicle on weekends

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

  • bike rentals by Wheel Fun Rentals (single riders or an entire family): $10-$35/hr
  • paddle boat rentals: $15/half hour
  • the Orange County Zoo: $2 admissions
  • pony rides: $5

Bike and paddle boat rentals are open daily.
