This summer Daphne’s California Greek’s Mini-Pita Trio was such a hit, they decided to roll out a new item on the menu which combines two world flavors in one bowl.
Available for a limited time, Daphne’s introduced the Cali-Greek Bowl (a Greek cuisine with a California twist). It comes with a choice of citrus brown rice or rice pilaf, black beans, guacamole, salsa, jalapeno bacon, Greek yogurt chipotle sauce and a choice of grilled chicken, savory gyros or falafel. You’ll like that it’s less than 700 calories!
I ordered mine with gyros and this is what came out. Okay, it doesn’t look exactly like the picture in the sign, but it was still delish! Something about the medley of everything together from the rice to the guacamole to the sauce was so good.
OTHER ITEMS WE TRIED:
Darren enjoyed his Grilled Chicken Street Pita (580 cal) which came with two small pitas, feta cheese, french fries and grilled vegetables.
Disclosure: We were invited as a member of the media to try their new menu item to share with our readers. All opinions are our own.
