FOOD Review/Giveaway/Recipes: NEW Pancakes and Spicy Asian Pork Sandwich at Corner Bakery

Corner Bakery Cafe introduces two new items this month including their Buttermilk Pancakes with Berries and Spicy Asian Pork Hot Sandwich!

Last week, we were invited to sample the items before they hit their menu on July 1st and met with Chef Ric Scicchitano who is also their Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage AND their very first employee at the original cafe. Very cool right? (Ric also graduated from New York’s Culinary Institute of America.)

Also on their sample menu was their seasonal Chilled Berry Almond Swiss Oatmeal. Their oatmeal comes with rolled oats, low fat vanilla yogurt, skim milk, green apples, bananas, currants, dried cranberries, toasted almonds, and fresh berries. It is a favorite!

New on their lunch menu is their Spicy Asian Pork Hot Toasted Sandwich. It includes shredded roasted pork sauteed in a spicy Asian BBQ sauce, in-house pickled jalapenos, cucumbers, spicy slaw, and cilantro on a toasted French roll. It makes a great addition with just the right amount of heat. Zoom in below!
