The last days of summer is near, and soon autumn will be upon us. We love all the warm colors that it brings. One of our favorite traditions to do in the fall is visit pumpkin patches as a family. Irvine Park Railroad’s Pumpkin Patch is full of fun activities for all ages, and it opens September 20th!

It’s Irvine Park Railroad’s 9th annual Pumpkin Patch, and with thousands of pumpkin in all shapes and sizes, you’ll be sure to find the perfect pumpkin! (Prices will vary on size).

This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include:

  • Train rides,
  • Hay rides,
  • Panning for gold,
  • A child-friendly haunted house (free),
  • A hay maze (free),
  • A moon bounce,
  • Carnival games,
  • Cookie decorating,
  • John Deere tractor racers,
  • Face painting,
  • Guess The Weight of the Giant Pumpkin (free to enter),
  • Fun picture stands (free) and more!

Note: Getting into the pumpkin patch is free (except for parking), however, various activities will require tickets.

Our family going on a bike ride through the park via Wheel Fun Rental at Irvine Park.
Other activities available in the park include:
  • Wheel Fun Rentals® at Irvine Park (open daily at 10:00 am):
    • bike rentals (single riders or family),
    • paddle boat rentals,
  • Orange County Zoo (only $2 admissions and great for the littles), and
  • Pony rides.

Admission into the Pumpkin Patch is free.
(Price for activities vary.)
EVENT HOURS
Opens daily!
Weekdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
ACTIVITY TICKETS
Activity tickets are $5.00 each OR
Buy a book of 15 tickets for $60.00 ($15.00 savings).
PARKING FEES FOR IRVINE REGIONAL PARK
$3.00 per vehicle on weekdays.
$5.00 per vehicle on weekends.
PARKING TIP: As Halloween nears, plan to arrive early to help avoid crowds particularly on the weekends.
