If you’re wondering what Luau Larry’s have to offer on Avalon, California, we tried a few items that we enjoyed. For example, Turtle Wings are chicken wings with a teriyaki glaze. They’re great for sharing!
Did you know that Catalina Island has a healthy Buffalo population that is controlled by the Conservancy? Well if you feel adventurous, you can order a Buffalo Burger on the menu which is 1/3 lb Buffalo meat. Honestly, we couldn’t really tell it apart from regular beef.
Another burger we tried was the Hamburger Kona which comes with cheese and bacon. It was delicious!
What is Buffalo Milk?
Buffalo Milk is available on the Libations Signature Drink menu and it includes vodka, Kahlua, creme de cacao milk and fresh bananas. (Tasty!) Another popular item on this menu is the Wiki Wacker that we didn’t get to try, but I’ll have to try it when we go back.

Luau Larry’s is centrally located and steps from the beach. We had a great experience. The vibe was casual and fun. We will definitely go back.
