You may have noticed we were in beautiful Carmel Valley again this year. Last year, the owners of Holman Ranch were in the process of buying Will’s Fargo Restaurant so we were excited to go back to visit. When you’re in Central Coast California, you’re also in Wine Country.
Jarman. Aged in French oak barrels, it’s 100% estate grown, organic, and contains certified sustainable grapes with a wine tasting lounge right at Will’s Fargo. A limited supply is available only in the tasting room. (Note: $1 from each bottle sold goes to the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation.)
Our delicious evening included Jarman Wine tasting before dinner, Classic French Onion Soup for starters, Roasted Free Range Chicken with Potato au Gratin, and a warm Truffle Chocolate Cake made with Holman Ranch ice cream to top it off! (Holman Ranch ice cream uses olive oil instead of butter fat). It was a wonderful experience, and who doesn’t love wine and food over great conversation?
