I have been waiting for this! Disney’s THE LION KING returns to Orange County October 6th through November 1st! In 2010, the show’s three-week engagement at Segerstrom Hall was sold-out! Winner of six 1998 Tony Awards®, THE LION KING won Best Musical, Best Scenic Design (Richard Hudson), Best Costume Design (Julie Taymor), Best Lighting Design (Donald Holder), Best Choreography (Garth Fagan), and Best Direction of a Musical.

MEET THE CAST!

This production features Patrick R. Brown as Scar, Gerald Ramsey as Mufasa, Mukelisiwe Goba as Rafiki, Drew Hirshfield as Zazu, Ben Lipitz as Pumbaa, Nick Cordileone as Timon, Aaron Nelson as Simba, Nia Holloway as Nala, Keith Bennett as Banzai, Tiffany Denise Hobbs as Shenzi and Robbie Swift as Ed. The role of Young Simba is alternated between BJ Covington and Tré Jones, and the role of Young Nala is alternated between Savanna Fleisher and Mikari Tarpley.

  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m.* and 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (No 6:30 p.m. show on Sunday, November 1)
  • Additional 2:00* p.m. performance on Thursday, October 29.

*NOTE: The 2:00 p.m. performance on Saturday, October 17 will include audio description, open captioning and sign-language interpretation.
