Hot off the Press! Disney’s Newsies is coming to Segerstrom Center of the Arts! I cannot tell you how excited I am to see one of my most favorite all time Disney musicals live on stage. I grew up singing along to all of the newsboys catchy tunes and rollerblading around Orange County to my favs like “Seize the Day!”
Today the movie has become a brilliant Broadway’s Tony® Award-Winning smash musical, and I am beyond thrilled that I am able to cover this spectacular moment for Let’s Play OC! Thank you, Mary, for making this blogger’s musical dream come true. Have you seen the movie? Did you know that it is based on parts of history that are true. The newsboys and the media of then, Pulitzer and Hurst, wrote headlines and sold “papes”. It’s an amazing story that I cannot wait to see brought to life in front of me. I will be attending opening night and will share all about it. “Now is the time to Seize the Day!” Newsies, I’m your biggest fan!
