I tried painting pumpkins this year and loved it so much. I don’t think I will ever go back to just carving. Bolthouse Farms sent us a generous starter kit this Halloween, and asked us to give it a go. I gathered up some friends with their kids and had a paint party. It was so fun! If you want to throw your own party, here are some of my tips Plus Ilearned how to paint a FROZEN pumpkin. Get the details below!
I was really happy how it turned out. Everyone had a great time and the pumpkins dried in no time. Have a cardboard box ready to transport them home. If you’re unsure about the steps above, test it on a mini-pumpkin first. Thank you, Bolthouse Farms, for sponsoring this activity! We all really enjoyed it and will continue to do this every year. Right now they have an Instagram contest that ends on 10/30/16. You could win juices, dressings, or a giftcard. Visit their Instagram for contest details. Be sure to tag them @BoltHouseFarms and use hashtag #juiceandghouls in the caption. Happy Halloween! ~Mary
