My Experience with AMAZING LASH STUDIO + Tips

Spread the love

Have you ever wondered what it would look like to have longer lashes? My sisters get them done all the time, and I have wanted to try them myself. AMAZING LASH STUDIO invited me to go in for a complimentary set. I had lots of questions going in, but my gal at the Tustin location made me feel comfortable, and I had a great experience. I have some suggestions and tips to help you decide if it is right for you. They also have a promotion for first time visits. See below!

CHECK-IN EARLY

If you have time constraints and need to leave on time (it is about a two hour appointment which includes consultation and picking out a style), you will want to get there about 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork because they can’t start until you do. The rooms are private and the lashes took about 1.5 hours to apply, but this also included choosing a style and length and stopping to take pictures to document my experience.

CHOOSING A STYLE & LENGTH

You’ll want to be familiar with the different styles, but if you’re not sure, then she will go over it with you. I had no idea! I just wanted them to look less dramatic and more natural. There are four styles to choose from – Natural, Cute, Sexy, and Gorgeous.

  • Gorgeous – thicker and fuller lashes all over (red-carpet ready)
  • Natural – longer lashes across your lash line (enhances natural shape of your eye)
  • Cute – longer lashes at the center of your lash line (makes your eyes look larger)
  • Sexy – longer lashes on the outer corner (more defined winking)

FOR LENGTHS, you can select from from 8’s to 15’s. I went with the “Gorgeous” style and my lengths were (starting from the corner of my eyes) – 10’s, 11’s, 12’s, 11’s, and 10’s.

The one and a half hour just flew by. I was relaxed while she was gently applying them. There were no tugging, and I couldn’t feel anything when she was gluing them on with tweezers. I was also given a blanket to take a nap if I wanted. You can see the before and after below. I had no lashes before! WOW!

AFTERCARE & MAINTENANCE

They gave me aftercare instructions before I left the studio and introduced me to their products. I bought a retractable styling wand to brush my lashes because it was recommended. IN THE FIRST 48 HOURS the bonding agent needs to thoroughly dry so they advise not to rub or clean your lashes with soap or get your lashes wet. You can shower with them on but don’t take long steamy showers. Mine felt heavy after they got wet and I didn’t want the chemical to get in my eyes, but they felt fine after I patted them dry. AFTER THE FIRST 48 HOURS, they advise to clean the lashes twice daily with antibacterial soap and to brush them daily. Other things to avoid – mechanical lash curlers, waterproof cosmetics around the eyes, rubbing and long exposure to moisture or steam.

PROMOTIONAL OFFER

At Amazing Lash Studio, they have an introductory offer which is a full set for $79.99 (regular price is $250). The refills are $79.99 and the 30 minute touch-ups are $49.99. A lash removal fee is $35. Members get a discount.

I tried lash extensions for the first time today with Jules @AmazingLashStudioTustin. It was a painless two hours. What do you think? @amazinglash hosted #amazinglash #amazinglashstudio #lashextensions

After trying out my first full set for a couple of weeks, I have decided they are great for special occasions and photo shoots. I have gotten so many compliments and my eyelash extensions looked natural. They were fun to wear and no mascara was ever needed. Sometimes I forget that I have them on. The lashes are waterproof and they stay on for about a month but if you want to maintain them, you’ll notice some strands will start to come off naturally after two weeks to four weeks and you will need refills to keep them full. Jules at AMAZING LASH was really friendly and professional. The only thing I wish is they offered an allergy free option. I know a few friends that are irritated by the glue, and at the moment, there is none available on the market. I think they were fun to have on but might be a little expensive to maintain. There’s a promotional offer for first timers if you want to try them. For more information or to find a location near you, please visit their website at www.amazinglashstudio.com.
