ALDI is the new neighborhood grocery in town, and we have been shopping there lately comparing prices and trying their products for our every day needs. It will take some getting used to because they do not have fancy displays and they carry 90% ALDI-exclusive brands, but it’s all good. I’m saving money, and I’m finding myself making better choices for my family. Even though their products are cheaper, it doesn’t mean their products are not high quality. They pass the savings on to their shoppers. So far the experience has been refreshing, and after browsing their recipes on their website, I have decided to make Red, White, and Blue Yogurt Parfaits using all ALDI products. It’s perfect for any occasion and especially for our upcoming Fourth of July holiday!
You will also need (12) half pint mason jars, stemware, or other clear containers. If you use larger containers, you will also need additional products. Total ingredients listed above costed about $9-$13 before taxes.
There you have it. It’s the perfect summer treat for any occasion (breakfast, snack, or dessert)! I was able to prepare this pretty fast and it tasted great with the fresh berries and the agave added a hint of sweetness. The Fit & Active Vanilla Nonfat Yogurt had a sweeter taste than the Friendly Farms Greek Nonfat Yogurt, but I liked them both. Try making it this summer for your family. My kids loved it.
