We saw a pre-screening of Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3” this week and loved it! Racing is Lightning McQueen’s life, but as newer, faster cars enter the competition, it is harder for him to keep up. He suddenly realizes that he might be forced to retire. Can personal trainer, Cruz Ramirez, get him up to the next level? You’ll have to watch it to find out. The movie had amazing graphics, the storyline was well written, and I loved the ending! Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3” cruises into theaters on June 16, 2017.
Producer Kevin Reher says the story is reflective of real-life champions. “Lightning McQueen has been racing for more than a decade,” says Reher. “He’s struggling with the kind of issues a lot of athletes face later in their careers. Do you go out on top or fight til the end?”
