Last week, my husband and I had a date night so we headed over to LAS BRISAS in Laguna Beach to try their new items on their patio menu. As they are located off Pacific Coast Hwy, they are very close to the beach. We were dining with an amazing view. It was hot and sunny that day, but the umbrellas were up giving us shade. As the sun started to set, they slowly took them down. Patio seating is first come first serve. As you can imagine, you might need to hang out a little to snag a table. There are also seating indoors, and a more formal dining area. It makes a great spot for happy hour with friends or date nights. We tried new items like their SEAFOOD COCTEL (my favorite), SHORT RIB TACOS (yummy), and GRILLED SALMON (delicious). Patio Hours are Sunday-Thursday 8am-10pm and Friday-Saturday 8am-11pm. There are metered parking (free after 7pm) as well as valet. And if you want to walk off everything delicious you just ate, be sure to feed your meter before taking a romantic stroll on the beach to watch the sunset.

For TACOS TRIOS, you get three tacos served with escabeche and your choice of black beans, fries or side house salad. Select from Ahi Tuna, Short Rib, Roasted Portobello, or Chicken Tinga. We tried the new short ribs, and they were great! Their Ahi Tuna Tacos are award winning so if you haven’t had them before, you’ll have to try them.

SHORT RIB – guava and guajillo-braised beef, avocado, pico de gallo, cotija cheese

SEAFOOD CÓCTEL – crab claw, shrimp, raw oyster, octopus, avocado

SHORT RIB Taco Trio – guava and guajillo-braised beef, avocado, pico de gallo, cotija cheese

AHI TUNA BURGER – seared ahi tuna, charred pineapple-mango relish, chipotle aioli, served with battered fries

SHRIMP & QUINOA SALAD – baby kale, quinoa, grilled corn, goat cheese, sherry gastrique, toasted pepitas, champagne vinaigrette

BRISAS BURGER – nueske’s bacon, roasted green chiles, charred scallion aioli, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, brioche bun, served with battered fries

GRILLED SALMON – roasted tomatillo sauce, fingerling potatoes, charred asparagus
