Halloween is one of our most favorite time of year! It is a month long celebration for us. We love to visit pumpkin patches and themed attractions, coordinate costumes, attend parties, and last year we added painting pumpkins. I really can’t wait to do it all over again this year. Pumpkin Patches are the perfect backdrop to get some wonderful seasonal photos to share with family and friends. I love how the fall colors just pop in the background. We tell all new families to take their children to pumpkin patches for photos and take advantage of the natural lighting. They’re also a great place to find the perfect pumpkins. They are very popular and tend to get busy later in season so if you have small children, you might want to plan ahead like go early, avoid weekends if possible o go right when it opens, and pack a change of clothes because it’s still hot through the end of October. Opens daily 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The parking lot and entry gates close at 5:30 pm. The entry fee to the Pumpkin Patch is $3 per person. Ages 2 and under are free. Admission includes enjoying all areas of the patch, all photo opportunities, the corn maze, voting in the Scarecrow Contest, and watching the pumpkin cannon on the weekends. Re-entry is permitted. Customers of the produce stand and CSA pick-up customers do not need to purchase admission unless entering the pumpkin patch.
