Homemade Hot Chocolate with Vitamix Aer Disc Container

Disclaimer – For this product review, I partnered up with Moms Meet. All opinions are my own.

I have been wondering what is so great about the Vitamix. Everyone that uses one, swears by it and loves it. I finally got to test one out recently with the new Aer Disc Container. It emulsify, whips, muddle, and creates foam/frothy drinks. I wanted to make something simple like whipped cream for hot chocolate and followed the directions on the recipe card. Within minutes later I was like, WOW! It was easy to do with only two ingredients (sugar and heavy cream) and two step instructions. Now I can make homemade whipped cream from scratch within six minutes! I may never go back to store bought from a can.

It also came with a recipe book so I tried making Hot Chocolate. I think I need a little bit more practice. I’m suppose to start off with the slowest setting and gradually increase the speed to the highest. Should take about ten minutes to make. It gets really loud as it increases which made me nervous so I couldn’t do it as instructed. I have yet to use it on full speed to get the correct consistency, but it was still good enough to drink.

What does the trick is the specially designed disc with small holes. When it spins the liquids, it aerates and emulsifies creating this beautify product which agitates the ingredients instead of pureeing them. They sell the container by itself with a tamper and recipe book, but you will need the Vitamix machine to go with it.

More Time with Friends!

I am going to try the other recipes that came with the machine. I like recipes that are easy to follow and hard to mess up, and theirs look easy to follow with pictures. Others have told me they use it for work, and they love it because they make the best smoothies. It is also great for handcrafted cocktails.

Vitamix Aer Disc Container came just in time to make it easier to “whip” up recipes so us moms have more time to spend with family and friends. The Vitamix Aer Disc Container is available to purchase at Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table, Target, and Amazon.
