Not too long ago, we were invited to a menu tasting at Wood Ranch located at the Irvine Spectrum for a Mom’s Night Out. A night out with the ladies and BBQ? Of course, I said, YES!! Prepare to DROOL… I know you want to hear more about the menu, so let’s jump right in.
Appetizers
Good thing we all came hungry because it was a lot of food! First things that came out were their Half & Half shredded onions and sweet potato fries, Mini–Pork Sliders, and Tuscan Kale Salad which had watermelon radishes, tri-color cauliflower, carrots, toasted pumpkin seeds, shaved parmesan, and balsamic. They were all in good portions that were great for sharing, plus we wanted to try everything. Even their warm garlic dinner rolls were delicious, and we kept refilling our basket.
Main Entrees
We knew we were in for some serious good eats when a GIANT Short Rib entered the room. This will surely satisfy a hungry bunch. Pictured below is their Short Rib and Brisket Burger. I’m not blowing up the picture on purpose. The one rib portion was hug,e and it filled up the plate. We also tried Tri Tip, All American Baby Back Ribs, St. Louis Ribs, BBQ Half Chicken, Texas-Style Brisket and more! So much BBQ! I love it!
Signature Side Dishes
Smashed Sweet Potatoes, fiery Green Beans, and Lauren’s Favorite Mac & Cheese – Oh My! I’ll take more please! They have a lot of great options, and it was like a Thanksgiving feast! Everything we tried was yummmm.
DESSERTS
We sampled all these desserts and more: Seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake, Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake, Cheesecake with raspberry sauce and fresh berries, and Deep-Dish Cobbler. YES PLEASE!

Dinner is always fun with friends. Thanks, Wood Ranch, for a wonderful evening of delicious BBQ and desserts! Everything was so good! We will be back with the family!

UPDATE: Since then, I’ve been back a few times with my family, and we love it! It is definitely family-friendly. My husband ordered their Brisket Burger which included 50% brisket and 50% hamburger. The All-American Baby Back Ribs and Texas-Style Brisket I ordered for my Wood Ranch BBQ 2-Item Combo, came with dipping sauces like the Habanero Peach BBQ Sauce. My kids enjoyed their BBQ Tri Tip Sandwiches and all white Chicken Tenders with a side of Lauren’s favorite Mac and Cheese.
