Queen Mary’s CHILL Christmas Carol Plus My Top 7 Things to Do!

Spread the love
The Queen Mary’s CHILL is a full day of winter-ful fun! This year tickets to CHILL also gives you access to The Queen Mary. There are more than 15 things you can do this year including writing a letter to Santa and mailing it, running through the Enchanted Garden Maze, take a photo with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, ride the largest rocking horse, get caught in a bubble blizzard in Candy Cane lane, build gingerbread houses, go shopping at Illumination Candle Shoppe and Holiday Market Place, watch a live show at the Holly Grove Stage, face painting, reindeer games, and more! Here are my top 7 things to do at CHILL!

#1 – Go Ice Skating!

#2 – Ice Tubing at Glacier Glide!

Grab some tubes and go ice tubing at Glacier Glide! Grab a lane and see who can go faster. You’ll want to do it over and over again.

#3 – Slide down an icy slide!

This year’s The Ice Kingdom features a classic story of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. You’ll walk through the timeline of the three ghosts then end up at an ice version of The Queen Mary. Climb up the stairs and pick one of the four lanes to slide down. Not sure which one? Try them all! It’s not just for kids and with everyone looking the same from the free parkas loaners, you’ll blend right in. TIP: Bring gloves! The parkas do not have pockets. You’ll last longer in the 9 degrees of the 13,000 square feet giant igloo.

#4 – Try Polar Paintball Shooting!

They have moving targets at Polar Paintball Shooting Gallery. Can u spot the Yeti? The MC will have you laughing! After the games ended, the Yeti came out from hiding and gave us all a high five.

#5 – Visit the LEGO Queen Mary Ship!

#6 – Enjoy the displays of the Promenade of Trees on The Queen Mary

Since you’re already on the ship, take a walk around and look for the Promenade of Trees which align the halls of The Queen Mary. There’s also a Starbucks on the same floor and a great view of CHILL!

#7 – Watch “The Polar Express” in 4D!

It was a full day of fun at CHILL this year. There were so many festive things to do, and it includes being on The Queen Mary. This is our third year attending CHILL, and visiting The Ice Kingdom. My husband said this year is the best one, because it has a theme and tells a classic story. The other years were great too, but this one had a theme throughout. My kids love all the ice and building LEGOs, of course, and mine was the movie in 4D. The ELF Pass is available if you want to avoid long lines. For more information, please visit their website.

Have fun!
