Lately, I needed to change up my routine to get healthier so I started working out with a group of moms with a trainer who is also my sister’s friend. The group is super supportive and even though I am not as strong (and straggle along), I never felt inferior or out of place. Dolly reassured me that it was okay to go at my own pace and listen to my body as long as I don’t quit and keep coming to class. It’s only twice a week in the morning so it was easy to commit. The other moms were always friendly, and I felt like I was part of this team on the road to fitness. On several occasions, they talk about cleansing, dieting, and making good choices. It was exactly what I needed and it has motivated me to eat healthier or at least think twice about what I eat. Introducing the elevĀte salad bowls from Ready Pac Foods.

Spinach Pow Salad which includes organic baby spinach, grilled organic chicken raised without antibiotics, Monterey Jack Cheese, almonds, cranberries, and honey mustard dressing PLUS it’s gluten-free, provides about 11g of protein, and has about 17g of total carbohydrates. It was easy to assemble in just 3 steps and super tasty! I broke it down for you just how simple it is (it also comes with a plastic fork!), and all you have to do is just remember to grab-and-go…

Step #2: Take off the dividing tray.

Once you remove the plastic film, remove the salad toppings tray. See how the chicken, cheese, dressing, nuts, and cranberries are not touching the spinach? You’ll also find it comes with a plastic fork!

There you have it! When thinking healthy, salads come to mind, but it doesn’t have to be boring or complicated. You know the salad kits at Costco are quite good – they taste great and has great value. The bags are usually too large unless you’re having a party, but the grab-and-go bowls which comes in a twin pack are great for quick lunches or a light snack making nutrition portable. Thank you, elevĀte, for sponsoring this post! You can learn more about their salad varieties here >> https://www.readypac.com/our-brands/elevate-salads/.

Where to find elevĀte at Costco.

I found my kits in the Dairy Section where they keep the salad bowl packs. Not to be mistaken with the salad kit bags found in the produce section (that’s where I looked first), these are located on the main floor.
