Producer Jeffrey Seller and Segerstrom Center for the Arts are pleased to bring HAMILTON to Orange County audiences for the first time May 8 – 27, 2018 in Segerstrom Hall! With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacomoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton. We have seen the show and it is amazing! Where studying history can be a bit boring at times, watching it performed live on stage while they sing, rap, and dance through the performances, you can’t help but stay tuned in. Everything from the costumes, the use of the stage, the flow of the transitions, and to the upbeat music, it has been creatively and well planned out. It is how theater should be enjoyed in modern times. We loved the singing, the performers, and this musical! Well done!
