Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Downtown Disney District in Anaheim has been open since March 15th. With 600 dining seats, two craft cocktail bars, two bustling kitchens, 20 bowling lanes and a covered patio with a stage that features live music 365 days a year, Splitsville makes a great option for special nights out with family and friends! We have been. The food is great, and the way they lay out the lanes, it feels like little private bowling parties. I mean have you been to a bowling alley that serves sushi? It’s fancy, right?
They have other locations nationwide, but this location offers more than 40,000 square feet of entertainment space with two levels and views of Downtown Disney District from the second floor dining room. You can see what a semi-private lounge looks like above. The unique bowling lounges create an exclusive VIP feel. They’re perfect for family reunions, birthday parties, or even company team building parties accommodating groups both large and small. Hint: The second floor can be converted into a large dance floor.
“Splitsville was designed as a restaurant first,” says co-owner Mark Gibson. “We then added bowling lanes in small clusters and arranged the lanes in different directions. The result is a unique environment where guests can enjoy drinks and dinner away from the activity or jump into the action and bowl a few frames with their friends while having food and beverages delivered to their lane.”
As mentioned earlier, I don’t know too many bowling alleys that serve sushi, but what I meant to say is that they have more than just pizza, burgers, and nachos. Their menu is chef-inspired, and their co-owner said that Splitsville was designed as a restaurant first, and they don’t just serve traditional bowling alley food. It’s better! Their pizzas are gourmet, they use queso on their nachos, and they serve items like grilled avocado with ahi tuna, we already mentioned sushi, grilled salmon with mango chutney, pot roast sandwiches, poke bowls, spicy veggie bowls with added salmon, and banana streusal pizza for dessert. Everything we tried was Yummy! You can check out www.splitsvillelanes.com. Their craft cocktails are “on tap” and they have a wide selection of local draft beers.
We went as a group with several families and had a blast! Although our area was semi-private we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The loungy-feel was nice and comfortable. The food selection had something for everyone including kid-friendly options. Our party host took our group’s shoe sizes and had them ready for us when we arrived to our party area. When it was time to leave, we just left them there. For more information, please visit their website.
