The NEW “Jurassic World – The Ride” officially opened this summer, and it’s making a huge Splash! The Ride brings the film to life featuring stars, Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), and BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu) as well as the addition of iconic dinosaurs from the movie. What could go wrong? Experience a glimpse of what it would be like if they all escaped! They’ve also added a new dining experience, a new bar, new interactive Dino Play area, new collection of souvenirs, and new encounters to the area!
New Raptor Encounter!
Stop by and visit the all-new “Raptor Encounter” where Blue, the Velociraptor from the JURASSIC WORLD movies, engages with guests in face-to-face encounters. There are two new additions – a Baby Raptor with her Raptor Handler and a life-size Triceratops who greet guests outside the “Jurassic World—The Ride” entrance.
New Dining!
New dining experiences include a Costa Rican-inspired menu at Jurassic Cafe, and flavorful Tiki cocktails at their all-new tropical Isla Nu-bar. Items we tried are the citrus chicken with rice, burger, and the kids sliders which came with curly fries. TIP: They are offering an “all day” refillable collector’s cup for about $15. Refill as much as you want, as many times as you want, every 10 minutes for the entire day for one low fee. They’re also rechargeable for $9 when you come back to the park in the future.
Meet-and-Greets
DreamWorks’ Trolls Guy Diamond joins Poppy and Branch at their new home the park! You’ll find them on rotation for Meet-and-Greets with other DreamWorks characters located adjacent to DreamWorks Theatre.
Summer Light Show
See Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle while it’s back this summer until August 11, 2019!
