DINING: New WR Kitchen by Wood Ranch

WR Kitchen & Bar by Wood Ranch will open its first location in Laguna Niguel (The Center at Rancho Niguel, 28061 Greenfield Drive) on Monday, May 6th with a second location set for Fall 2019 in Carlsbad (The Square at Bressi Ranch, 2668 Gateway Road). Keeping their focus on serving delicious high quality food at an excellent value, this new energetic casually-upscale environment concept wants to get time-challenged guests in-and-out quickly or they can leisurely stay and dine. Featuring a wood-fired open kitchen, they will offer an a la carte menu for more options to customize portions and now with a wider price range to accommodate every budget. 

How to Order

You’ll be greeted upon arrival. Order at designated locations at the bar. You’ll be handed a pager so you can sit where ever you want – dining room, bar or patio where your order will be delivered. Servers will stop by the tables to take additional orders for second cocktails, dessert or anything else you may want.

“WR Kitchen & Bar will offer Wood Ranch favorites including tri tip, baby back ribs, the BBQ chopped salad, and fresh, house-made desserts, along with introducing new items. Smoked Steelhead Trout will be available by itself, on salads and featured on a multi-grain grilled bread with guacamole and pickled red onion. Blistered Shishito Peppers and Burnt Ends Caramel Popcorn are new snack items, and a ‘Little Salad’ of roasted heirloom carrots and goat cheese topped with toasted pistachios will be among the new starters. There will also be tacos, uniquely filled with a choice of brisket, pulled pork, smoked steelhead trout, roasted chicken or roasted cauliflower, as well as other new menu items.”

Bar Menu

WR Kitchen & Bar will also feature a full bar, curated by our beverage team to offer hand-crafted batch cocktails, 12 craft beers on draft, and several outstanding value-priced wines. The bar will offer a lively atmosphere with seating for 16, while the dining room will have seating for 97, and the patio will have an additional 54 seats.
