Test Driving the Toyota Land Cruiser

A few weeks ago, we test drove the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Luxury SUV, and visited Nighttime Zoo at San Diego Zoo presented by San Diego Toyota Dealers. The nighttime zoo had extended zoo hours until 9pm, but it will end September 4th. It was totally unexpected and a nice treat before the new school year. When they first dropped off the car, my first thought was, “This car is a Beast!” With a third row and lots of space to spread out, it seats 8. This model has been around since 1951 and has the longest running history for Toyota. I think it is best known for its 4 wheel drive and it’s reliability for off-roading. With 381 horsepower, I think this vehicle would be great to take to Big Bear during the winter. Not only will it fit a family comfortably, it would do well in the snow. In the summer, it could pull a boat, trailer, or jet skis…

Test Driving the New 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Convertible #DriveMazda

Back in the day when I lived the single life, driving and riding in a sports car excited me. My husband (boyfriend at the time) used to pick me up in his navy blue 1986 Mazda RX7. I felt special getting into his car and stepping out of his car. Later he upgraded to a 1988 Mazda Anniversary RX7 which came in a Storm Trooper White. I remember driving it around thinking, Wow, this car is really fast! In college, we bought a two door convertible together. We lived in Los Angeles at the time and fell in love with the SoCal weather. Most days we just dropped the top and then drove along the coast. Those days were fun, but when I got pregnant, I traded my car in for an SUV for more space and practicality. How long has it been? Almost ten years?

Automotive: Toyota Prius Test Drive #LetsGoPlaces

For the longest time, my family have been big on Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and sports cars. My brother-in-law started this trend in our family when he became a Toyota Prius-owner. We were not convinced when he took it camping and was doubtful when he didn’t get a bigger car for their baby stroller. We resisted a long time to switch over, but sure enough he converted us one-by-one. All the siblings now have at least one hybrid or electrical car. We all went green, and it’s the preferred car to do our daily runs!
