LUNCH! Food Truck Fare

My visiting sister-in-law’s husband is a huge fan of Food Network’s: The Great Food Truck Race Show so when I got their detailed itinerary, I saw that they wanted to visit gourmet Food Trucks. She mentioned there was one in Yorba Linda, but there are quite a few in Orange County. I remembered OC Fairgrounds have them. What I found out is that there is a following and soon enough you will start to recognize them all over town and develop a favorite. These trucks travel! Here are some of our favorite items we got to try.

**Jack Back Sammie** is a bacon grilled cheese sandwich from BACONMANia.

**Gourmet Sliders** from The Burnt Truck (Left to Right): Fried Chicken with a garlic mash spread, Vietnamese Pork, and Cheeseburger with an egg.

Sweet Potato Curry from *Fresh Fries LA* Food Truck.

**CAJUN PLATE from Ragin Canjun Truck:** Red Beans and Rice with Sausage Gumbolaya (Gumbo + Jambalaya)

Did you know they were on Season 1 of The Great Food Truck Race? Stephan is from Lafayette, Louisiana and gave us some Southern Hospitality. =)
