Lisa Ramelow’s La Strada Restaurant Does a Toy Drive!

The fabulous owner of La Strada Italian Restaurant in Long Beach celebrates her birthday with a toy drive!

I don’t know too many people that would do that, do you? What a fabulous lady, Lisa Ramelow is. She was out there mingling with her guests and seen hugging many of them. I know I felt special when she came over to hug me.

The event (open to the public) included DJ music and with a $15 unwrapped toy donation (or a $20 cash donation), you enjoyed a gourmet Italian buffet on the house and a drink ticket.

The toys collected will go to the needed children of Long Beach.

More About La Strada Restaurant
La Strada is a small family Italian restaurant in Long Beach that is
owned and operated by Lisa Ramelow. A fixture in the Long Beach Italian
restaurant scene, La Strada was originally opened as Caffe La Strada by
her father in 1993. Lisa was on a break from her eight-year career
working as a software engineer at Rockwell to care for her two small
children. She offered to help her father out, and after a couple of
years Lisa became the proud owner of the best not-so-secret Italian
restaurant in Long Beach.
