We checked out this year’s CHILL at The Queen Mary and I think the biggy this year was there is no ice sculptures, but we still enjoyed their theme this year – Alice and the Winterland. Here are some activities we liked. Inside the dome, thrill seekers can enjoy indoor ice tubing, in the center there is aerial dancing and carousel rides. Winterland was bright, colorful and whimsical with fun photo ops with characters. The hats and ears are optional and they unlock and activate special effects.

This is a sponsored post. #FireflyMoms Getting my kids to brush their teeth every morning (without me nagging them) can be a challenge, but finding the right toothbrushes could do the trick. Firefly Toothbrushes carry really fun brushes in a variety of popular characters that could fit every need. They carry mouth rinse, flossers, travel kits, some are battery operated, light up, play cool sounds, some light up and pay sound, and they carry manuals too. As one of the mom ambassadors, I receive samples to try and then share what I think of them. Since our last shipment, morning routines have gotten a little bit better. =) Light Timers … Read more
This is a sponsored post. Grandparents are in town! Last Monday I took the family to HGTV Presents Santa HQ at the LAKEWOOD CENTER to see Santa, and it was also SANTA PAWS night. This year for SANTA PAWS, Lakewood Center partnered up with a local adoption store, Found Animals Adopt & Shop. You can bring your favorite pup or cat for photos with Santa or you can stop by the Found Animals table to learn more about the animals looking for good homes from the volunteers. I thought the pictures turned out really good and digital downloads are a great option if you want to access all your photos … Read more
Odysseo by Cavalia is back in Orange County for the holidays! We attended a media preview for opening weekend. What a super spectacular show! Both my parents and toddler loved it! It was a beautiful performance of human and horse, and it is one of the best performances I have ever seen. I loved how the horses were gracefully composed throughout the show, and my toddler loved seeing the princess balance on the two horses. The tribal performers were really fun to watch too. My favorite part was when the stage turned into water. What a treat for everyone! -Leyna Odysseo by Cavalia November 16, 2016 to January 8, 2017 … Read more
MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa November 22-27, 2016. I saw it when they were here last time and loved it especially when they sang all-time-favorites like “Dancing Queen”, “S.O.S.” and “Take a Chance on Me”. MAMMA MIA! is one of the most successful musicals of all time and one of only five musicals to have run more than ten years on Broadway.
