Nintendo Switch News – Luigi’s Mansion 3

Post written in collaboration with Nintendo. All opinions are my own. #NintendoFamilyFun Most recently my family and I attended a spooky event hosted by Nintendo to preview Luigi’s Mansion 3. The previous arcade version has been my kids’ go-to game for a long time. Whenever they quickly disappear, we usually find them at this game. I mean, what’s not to like about hunting ghosts with a flashlight and vacuum cleaner? Play as Luigi or Gooigi. Now it will be better than ever with new moves, new themed floors, new tools, new challenges, and more! Luigi’s Manion 3 becomes available on Nintendo Switch just in time for Halloween on October 31, … READ MORE >>

Homemade Hot Chocolate with Vitamix Aer Disc Container

Disclaimer – For this product review, I partnered up with Moms Meet. All opinions are my own. I have been wondering what is so great about the Vitamix. Everyone that uses one, swears by it and loves it. I finally got to test one out recently with the new Aer Disc Container. It emulsify, whips, muddle, and creates foam/frothy drinks. I wanted to make something simple like whipped cream for hot chocolate and followed the directions on the recipe card. Within minutes later I was like, WOW! It was easy to do with only two ingredients (sugar and heavy cream) and two step instructions. Now I can make homemade whipped … READ MORE >>

TICKTALK – Wearable Phone for Kids!

Product Testing/Review. All opinions are my own. My son is entering middle school next year while his younger brother attends elementary school. They will be on different schedules, and I might start subbing next year. We still have a couple of months of summer to figure out commuting whether it be bussing or carpooling, etc. I would love some tips if you’d like to share them with me. I have considered letting him to walk to school and back, but I am not 100% convinced neither I nor he is ready for it. Connected Independence – Smart Homes for Seniors

Advertisment. All opinions are my own. Now that we are homeowners, my husband has been obsessed with converting our home into a Smart Home. We have several of the devices that we can control remotely like light switches, thermostat, garage, and we got an Echo Show for Christmas, but it takes time to do it all. Last week, I attended “Connected Independence”, a Smart Home designed for seniors. It had me thinking about my own aging parents, and I also pictured myself using this technology when I’m not there to help them. “According to AARP, nearly 90% of adults ages 65+ prefer staying in their homes and aging in their … READ MORE >>
