We were invited to attend a pre-screening of Thor: The Dark World this week so I sent huge fans, Max and Nhi. (I think they’ve seen every movie out there so I was curious as to what they had to say). This is what Max reported…
If anyone is a Thor fan, this movie will not disappoint. In comparison to the first movie (which introduces us to the Norse God “Thor” – was he fit to rule?), this second movie pushes the envelope of sacrifice, romance, fate, betrayal, and revenge.
Nhi and I thought the movie’s animation and special effects were outstanding, not to mention the humor that came along with this movie – FUNNY! Chris Hemsworth makes a believable Thor and entertains us with the fighting persistence that will grasp you to favor him.
The script, directing, makeup, and costumes makes this a good recipe for a great movie! We were highly entertained and Thor: The Dark World is definitely worth a movie to watch. It may even be better than the first, and I thought the first was hard to beat. I give it 8.5 out of 10!
Oh and after the movie ended, we all applauded and were fighting over a Loki t-shirt.
Thor: The Dark World comes to theaters everywhere November 8, 2013 in 3D and RealD 3D! Rated PG-13. Go see it!
