Just got my hands on the New Trent Trentium iPhone 5/5S case to review. It is rated to be shock, dust and water resistant. REMEMBER this does not mean waterproof. The package comes with a two piece case, and three colored back covers (gold, black and space gray) to match the three of the iPhone 5s colors.

When opening the box, I was surprised to see that there were no instructions manual, however, there were instructions on the back of the box. Like most Apple products, the case was pretty simple and straightforward to understand. (See short clip below). I like that the case is very light, and built with strong materials.
TESTING
My iPhone 5S fit snugly in the case. I tested it by dropping in on the ground and dashing it under a shower faucet. It works perfectly! There’s a scratch resistant clear film to cover the screen and using my phone felt exactly the same. The one thing I was concerned about was the finger print sensor. Will my iPhone 5S still be able to read my fingerprints through this think piece of plastic? YES it worked flawlessly.

The case has bendable flaps giving you access to all your ports, buttons and switches. I think this is a fantastic product that doesn’t feel a whole lot thicker than my regular case. I wish I had it with me going camping last month. I would definitely recommend it for parents who are susceptible to drops and spills handling their little ones. We never know when accidents might happen, but at least we can feel much safer if they do.
