We went to a pre-screening of Disney’s Zootopia and thought it was great! Perfect for the whole family and overloaded with cuteness, this film comes out just in time to celebrate the Easter season. The movie is about Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin), the bunny who despite the odds of being female and tiny, followed her dreams and became the first rabbit officer.
Even after graduating as the top in her class, her challenges didn’t stop there. She had to prove she was an honorary cop capable of fighting crime and going up against dangerous situations. Along the way, she befriends a scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), who soon becomes her comrade. They were excellent as a team solving mysteries and following trails. This film is not only about girl power, beating the odds and rethinking stereotypes, but also about true friendship and doing the right thing. Zootopia is now playing in theaters everywhere and I highly recommend it so go see it! Still not sure what it’s about? Watch the trailer below!
