Affordable Summer Looks for Boys at Childrens Place

This is a sponsored post.

On days when the weather is super beautiful outside (and not too hot), we take the kids to the park so they can run around. This Sunday, I dressed them from head-to-toe pieces I found at The Children’s Place. I really like shopping there, because I can find some really good deals, and we love the licensed tee selections (some are tagless). I like to find items they can layer and mix-and-match with their existing clothes. Here’s more on their looks below!

My youngest son is obsessed with sharks right now so I layered him in a Shark white tee (which he loves). It’s on sale for $4.99 (regular $10.50). Other varieties are also on sale. The plaid shirt regularly priced at $16.95 was on sale for $12.99. His tan shorts were $8.99 (was $16.95), Boat Baja slippers in black $7.99 (regular $9.95), and straw hat in natural $4.99 (was $12.95). So I got his look for about $40 before tax, and he can mix and match it with all his other clothes all summer long.

(regular $16.95), plaid shorts $7.99 (was $19.95), and also Boat Baja slippers in black $7.99 (regular $9.95). Other licensed tee options include Angry Birds, LEGO Ninjago, Minions, Ninja Turtles, Avengers, DC Comics Superheros, Spiderman, and Captain America. Selections will vary store to store. I like the quality of the tees because they don’t feel rough after wash after wash, but it will fade from regular wear and tear. This look was about $25 before tax.

There’s also a ton of 4th of July items on sale as well as swimwear. I like to check out the clearance section and stock up for next season. The boys need summer pajamas, because the winter ones are too hot and they’ve outgrown last year’s. Thank you, The Children’s Place, for sponsoring this post! They always have bargain sales, and if you sign up for their email newsletter, you will get notifications. Total savings from my purchase that day was $41.23. (I easily went over my budget though.)
