My Son's Angry Bird-day Birthday Party

Booking the party was easy breezy. I wanted somewhere I didn’t have to pick up a bunch of food or clean up after. They have a ton of options and they do everything. All you have to do is bring a cake and just show up.

PACKAGES

Boomers had several options for group play, but I really wanted the “unlimited” bracelets. That way, I didn’t have to get a head count for each attraction and miss the whole day. Packages start at $12.99 for one round of miniature golf and includes everything listed below. The $16.99 Deluxe Package includes everything below plus unlimited Rock Wall, Miniature Golf, Bumper Boats, Kiddie Big Top Rides and Whirly Bird. If you want to include Unlimited Go Karts, that’s the Ultimate Package at $21.99. Do it during the week and get it at $16.99!

Every Package includes:

1.5 hour of Reserved time at the party table with a party host.

This was not easy. I really wanted to win one of these Star Wars Angry Birds.

ORDERING FOOD:

For food, most of my guests wanted supreme pizza and they didn’t have it as part of the package so I upgraded it for pizza slices and paid the difference. They also have party platters available. We added the veggie platter, fruit platter, and chicken wings and tender combo. I’m really glad I did this, because I wanted to give my guests a healthy variety. NOTE: No outside food allowed inside the private party room, however, there are also covered tables outside. Check out our spread below.

Birthday Cake

Here’s where it took the most time – calling around to find our themed-cake. We found our “Angry Bird” cake at Ralphs Grocery, but we heard they also have it at Sam’s Club.

PARTY ROOMS

At Boomers! Fountain Valley, they have a large themed-party room that’s shared (pictured below) or you can reserve their private party room where we were at. I actually loved the themed room and hope they will dress up the private room.

LAST TIP:

Plan to be there for at least 3 hours and let your guests know that too. Because everything was spread out, it was hard to keep the group together. You could try handing out a detailed itinerary so that everyone is on the same page.
