Medieval Times Buena Park Castle New Show!

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, I have frequented MEDIEVAL TIMES DINNER & TOURNAMENT in Buena Park several times over the years, and it never gets old. The best part is – I didn’t have to cook! You can give Moms a night off from household chores and remind everyone, chivalry is not dead. The dinner show is an epic battle over which Knight is the most honorable and most skilled over tournament games, jousting, sword fighting, and horsemanship. One of my favorite part is trying to catch a flower from my Knight. Maybe you or one of your kids can catch it for Mom to make her feel special? You really don’t know which team is going to win and boo’ing is encouraged, because it’s all in good fun.

Flower Fields Carlsbad Ranch Attractions

I received tickets in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.  One of my favorite things to do in the Spring is visit The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. The 50 acres of rolling hillside tecolote ranunculus is just beautiful, it blooms for six to eight weeks out of the year (March to May), and it also overlooks the Pacific Ocean. This seasonal and popular attraction get visitors from all over the world. I think it can be enjoyed several different ways, and with different people, because it is great for all ages. It is family-friendly, handicapped-friendly, and I also saw couples and groups of friends. The last day … READ MORE >>

Splitsville Luxury Lanes Opens at Downtown Disney Anaheim

Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Downtown Disney District in Anaheim has been open since March 15th. With 600 dining seats, two craft cocktail bars, two bustling kitchens, 20 bowling lanes and a covered patio with a stage that features live music 365 days a year, Splitsville makes a great option for special nights out with family and friends! We have been. The food is great, and the way they lay out the lanes, it feels like little private bowling parties. I mean have you been to a bowling alley that serves sushi? It’s fancy, right? They have other locations nationwide, but this location offers more than 40,000 square feet of entertainment space … READ MORE >>

House of Blues Anaheim Birthday Dinner + OMD Concert Recap!

Post written by me for House of Blues. All opinions are my own.  My husband and I both have birthdays in April. We are about a week apart so we often blow out our candles together. One of our favorite celebrations this year was at a Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim. They’re one of our favorite 80’s band, and they still sound good after all this time! They performed mostly their greatest hits and some of their new songs. It was nostalgic, and we would love to see them again live if they ever come back! Dinner Before the Concert Before the concert, … READ MORE >>
