My favorite foodie event of the year! Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce invites you to their signature event “Taste of Laguna” Presented by Nick’s and South of Nick’s on Thursday, October 19 from 5:30 PM to 9 PM. Don’t think that’s enough time to do it all? Upgrade to VIP and enjoy early entry, early reception, parking, and a special swag bag! Come hungry and enjoy a beautiful tasting of some of Laguna Beach’s best as well as preview some up and coming newcomers. (Hint: South of Nick’s, this year’s presenting sponsor, is opening a new location in Laguna Beach in early 2018.) You must be 21 or over to attend. Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival 2017

The Newport Beach Wine & Food Festival, presented by Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin of Newport Beach, returns to the contemporary Newport Beach Civic Center on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st. Kicking off on Friday, September 29th, it will include tastings from 40 top Orange County restaurants and their executive chefs, 250 varieties of world-class wine, spirits, and brews, celebrity chef cooking demos and dinners, Master Sommelier tasting panels, VIP events, live music, and a new “Havana Nights” after party.

Paella Wine & Beer Festival Ticket Giveaway!

Join Orange County’s first ever PAELLA WINE & BEER FESTIVAL on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 4-9 pm at the Orange County Fair and Event Center. There will be live entertainment including Flamenco performances and Spanish rock, and local vendors will offer tapas, sangrias, cocktails, cultural art, and more! Featuring an experience like what you would find while strolling through a lively outdoor market in Spain, watch as nearly 50 local chefs compete with their own paella recipes for the chance to represent the United States at the World Paella Championship in Sueca, Valencia, Spain!

With thousands expected to attend, the Paella Wine & Beer Festival is one of the most authentic Hispanic culinary events in the United States and presents a unique opportunity for local chefs to become known internationally. Every paella will be judged by experts, most of which are traveling from Spain, to weigh in on the competition. At the event, there will also be a record set with the largest paella ever made in the United States, enough to feed 3,000 people, prepared by Chef Leo Razo of Villa Roma in Laguna Niguel.

California Strawberry Festival Ticket Giveaway! #CAStrawberryFestival

The 2017 California Strawberry Festival is the perfect summer kickoff! Located at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard, this “berrilicious” event has expanded by 50% this year and now covers 15 acres. Fairgoers can now enjoy over 50 food booths, live concerts, 200+ arts & crafts exhibitors, and cooking demonstrations as well as a Strawberryland for Kids with rides and attractions. The Strawberryland Kids Theatre presented by Wells Fargo hosts live shows throughout the day. Be sure to enter the “Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest” if you have children under the age of 4 years old for prizes. Proceeds to the event will benefit Southland charities. All the non-profit food booths receive 100 percent of their sales proceeds. This 34th annual festival is on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st this year!

Greek Theatre: EEK at the Greek Halloween Event

Halloween is a big month for us. We all over the place, and we loved experiencing every bit of it. As we bid adieu and head into the next holiday season, I’d like to share with you one last Halloween coverage of Eek at the Greek (and a sneak peak inside the VIP Lounge at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles). Families were able to dress up and enjoy activities like costume contests (winners were announced during intermission), cupcake decorating, crafts, treat stations (I didn’t see that many), and photo ops.
