Disney The Little Mermaid Broadway Musical Ticket Giveaway!

Musical Theatre Orange County (MTOC) proudly presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid Musical performances this summer July 21 through 30, 2017! Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, it is a wonderful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.” Ron Banks has been seen around the world in musical theater, opera, and voice over. He’s received critical acclaim for his portrayal of the King of Siam in The King and I and an 8-year run as Jafar in Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular, and many other roles across a 30-year career. Voice over includes World of Warcraft, and Quan Chi in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Ron has a passion for youth outreach, often performing in Pacific Symphony’s Family Concerts.

What a night to remember! My childhood friend and I shared a lovely evening with music that evoked nostalgic memories of our youth. THE BODYGUARD The Musical is now performing in Orange County at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and this incredible musical brought us back to our High School years with classic songs like, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “One Moment In time.” This touring adaptation of the 1992 film has been transformed into a sensational musical! Deborah Cox as Rachel Marron is pitch-perfect and brings back timeless love songs back to life. “Run to You” and “I Will Always Love You” is celestial.

HARRY POTTER Film Concert Series at Segerstrom Center #scfta

THE HARRY POTTER FILM CONCERT SERIES returns to Orange County this month to perform the second film in the Harry Potter franchise – “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” Guests will be treated to the film playing on a 40-foot high definition screen while the 90-piece Pacific Symphony Orchestra performs live music from the film John Williams’ score at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13, 2017. There will be three concerts.

An American in Paris Musical Now at Segerstrom Center #scfta

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS musical debuted this week on April 25th at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. This new musical is the new Tony Award®-winning musical about an American soldier, a mysterious French girl and an indomitable European city, each yearning for a new beginning in the aftermath of war. Acclaimed director/choreographer and 2015 Tony Award®-winner Christopher Wheeldon brings the magic and romance of Paris with songs from George and Ira Gershwin that earned more awards than any other musical in the 2014/15 season.

FINDING NEVERLAND Musical Coming to Segerstrom Center!

Coming to Segerstrom Center for the Arts for their Orange County premiere, FINDING NEVERLAND will be performing this March 21st through April 2nd. This new musical is based on the Academy Award®-winning Miramax motion picture by David Magee and the play, “The Man Who Was Peter Pan” by Allan Knee. FINDING NEVERLAND follows the relationship between playwright J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired Peter Pan, or “The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up”.
