Nintendo 3DS Super Mario 3D Land Edition Bundle #PlayNintendo

Disclosure: I received a product sample to review. We’ve moved recently to South Orange County and are proud new homeowners. It is an exciting time for us and even though it is not super far from where we were, it feels like a whole new world to us and it will take some getting used to. For example, I have to learn the new school’s drop off and pick up schedule. I like showing up early but even 15 minutes is not early enough as parents have already been waiting there. The 15 minutes soon became 30 minutes and one time last week I was 40 minutes early and I … READ MORE >>

KIA SOUL EV All-Electric Vehicle: Thinking About Making the Switch

Disclosure: I have been given compensation for this post by Kia Motors, however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. Lately I have been intrigued by all-electric cars. It took us a long time to convert but now it is our preferred vehicle to run errands around town. Now the question is – what about all-electric? I have lots of questions. How often do I need to charge the battery and will I be able to take it out of town? … READ MORE >>

Show Review: SHANGHAI NIGHTS by Shanghai Acrobats of the Peoples Republic of China

This is a post written by Ryan Doan. Everyone has been to the circus. So what’s so unique about SHANGHAI NIGHTS? It blends a story-telling experience with traditional costume design and feats of acrobatics. The show did a great job incorporating traditional acrobatic sets into the story-line. For displays of strengths and skill, two stand out to me. The strong-man who tossed large vases up in the air and would catch them on the back of his neck/upper back muscles was impressive. The second is the performer who climbed and posed with one arm on a tower of chairs 40 feet up. My guests who attended with me were equally … READ MORE >>

Live the Gig Life at Cox Smart Home with Gigablast

This is a sponsored post written by me for Cox Communication. Last week we stopped by Orange County’s newest neighborhood, Canopy at Esencia in Rancho Mission Viejo to watch various demonstrations on what a Cox Smart Home with gigabit-internet speed service can do. There was a lot going on. There was someone podcasting, gaming, providing music lessons over live streaming, telehealth sessions with CHOC Childrens via InTouch Mobile robot, Wi-Fi cooking with a food blogger, and more! Cox Homelife Nowadays everything is wireless. You can download an app and control your home security system from anywhere (arm and disarm), check to see when your kids come home from school or … READ MORE >>
