Most recently the KNOTT’S HOTEL in Buena Park renovated. The hotel is literally down the street from us so why would we stay here? Because… Two parks in two days! When you’re busy having fun all day, the last thing you want to do is get in a car and sit in traffic. Everyone is super tired and a long car ride can be a drag especially for the driver. Sometimes, it’s nice to just go up to a hotel room and relax before going back out a second day. The rooms were comfy with modern furniture, and because of the heat wave last week, we looked forward to lounging poolside. The best part of staying at Knott’s Hotel is the tuck-in service from Snoopy! (Available if you’re staying on the Snoopy Floor.) Awe, my boys just love him! Big hugs all around before bedtime. It is truly a one-of-a-kind experience!
At Knott’s Hotel, they have a splash pad that the kids enjoyed while parents lounged nearby. We really liked that we were so close to both parks. You can read more about their amenities below. After dinner, we walked over to KNOTT’S BERRY FARM park for some late night fun. We were so glad we didn’t have to drive all the way home, because the next morning we headed over to SOAK CITY which all we had to do was walk across the street. There are lots to do for every age group. For smaller kids, they have the Gremmie Lagoon. It is really kid-friendly and where we spent our morning. One of our most favorite thing to do is lounge in the lazy river as a family. The Sunset River is one-third in mile and is one of the longest water park lazy rivers in the world. My kids also like the Tidal Wave Bay. Waterparks are a great way to beat the heat, because when you are playing in the water, you don’t realize how hot it is outside. Thanks, Knott’s, for a wonderful staycation experience! We had the best time, and can’t wait to visit again soon!
