I can’t wait for winter in Southern California so I can start wearing my gear! prAna uses materials that are sustainable to minimize waste and safer for our environment. Here are two new pieces from prAna that I added to my wardrobe. The Masina Dress I’m wearing (STYLE: #W33180822) in Charcoal is 100% Organic Cotton and Fair Trade Certified. It also comes in a Cargo Green and Mulled Wine color. Some features include a funnel neck with drawstring, waffle knit throughout with a solid knit insets at shoulder, arm and side seams. Just add leggings and boots! I would like for it to be a little more fitted, but with it being a little loose I don’t have to worry about any bulges when I just want something comfortable and easy to wear on days I just don’t want to overthink my outfit.
prAna’s Diva Long Jacket (STYLE: #W23180562) I’m wearing below is made from a bluesign® approved matte polyester shell fabric woven with a PFC-free durable water repellent finish. The Shell & Lining is 100% Polyester. The rib knit along the backside of the arm and underarm panel is subtle and allows room to stretch. The inside is lined with a soft sherpa which makes it feel luxurious. The jacket also comes in a black and bone color.
Here are some other winter pieces that I own by prAna. I am wearing their Aye Sweater (W23170260) in gravel, and their fitted low rise Kara Jean (W4KARA115) in denim. The denim is made with their original organic soft stretch material, and the sweater is made with recycled materials. I wore them with my winter boots to run errands in.
I wasn’t sure about the material of the sweater because at first the torso felt rough to my fingertips, but after wearing it around town, it was warm and comfortable. My friend’s daughters told me I looked like a hipster. Not really sure what that means but I’ll take it. Lately I have been feeling self-conscious lately, because I want to wear stylish clothing that are not only comfortable and look effortless, but it looks good on me. If my family is reading this, please gift me clothes this year! I like pieces that are not only easy to wear and easy to coordinate, they are comfortable and not too trendy. Thank you, prAna, for gifting me these outfits!
