prAna Sustainable Clothing Movement – Why Organic Cotton Matters

This post is written by me for prAna. All opinions are my own. It’s a gorgeous morning in Newport Beach, California. It was a little chilly in the morning so I brought out my new fall gear from prAna. Did you know that they only use Organic Cotton? Before prAna, I didn’t even know what that means. prAna cares about where their cotton comes from, because they not only care about the environment, they care about the farmers and their makers. Organic cotton is not only better for the environment in so many ways, the farmers are not exposed to harmful pesticides and chemicals, but the cotton also drinks less … READ MORE

Tidewater Summer Sandals + Giveaway

Flip Flops and Southern California go together. What’s not to love about sandals? They’re quick and easy to put on, they can be dressy or casual, and they’re comfortable for quick errands, beach, pool, or for any occasion. What’s your sandal style? Here are three my sisters and I are sporting this summer. (Tallulah Gold, Cape Cod Gold, and Montauk Natural). My pair (the one in the middle) is part of the their “A Little Less Casual” collection. It comes with a little wedge and they added a little cushion for arch support. I prefer a little arch support for comfortable all day walking. With the extra support, my feet don’t … READ MORE

prAna New Spring Active Wear, Everywhere – Workout Then Errands

I am loving my prAna pieces from their new Spring line. It is super comfortable, and stylish enough to wear while running errands. I am sure I am not the only one that love athleisure wear. I wore this the other day, was in it most of the day, and didn’t want to take them off – I grabbed coffee with a friend, dropped off children, and wore it to my doctor’s appointment. Most of the time, I can’t wear my yoga clothes out, because they’re either not stylish or I don’t want to smell all day. The Ostara Top that I’m wearing in Coal is made with organic cotton, … READ MORE

Pair Up Back-to-School Program at JCPenney August 1-15

This month, we’re all gearing up for Back-To-School, and I’m working on a game plan so I don’t get anxieties this year. For example, I will try to avoid crowds by shopping early in the season and in the mornings. I’m already finding some good deals at the mall. This year I am “Pairing Up” with JCPenney! I like collaborating with JCPenney, because not only do I find affordable pieces and they have a great selection of licensed tees that we love, every year they roll out a program to help children in need. This year for two weeks (8/1 through 8/15), for every pack of socks or underwear sold, JCPenney will “Pair Up” and donate a pack to the Y to give to kids in need up to 750,000. What a great cause!

Children’s Place Spring Fashion Finds

Sponsored content. All opinions are my own. We recently previewed this year’s Spring Collection at The Children’s Place. For the boys this year, layering is the key for both dressy and casual looks. We found licensed graphic tees (which we love), polo shirts in stripe and solids, shorts in plaids and solids, and we love it when their jeans go on sale. Here are some of our picks for boys for Spring Fashion this year that’s great for the playground or a day out with family and friends. Get This Look! In the first look, we layered a solid colored yellow polo shirt (a pop of color) with a t-shirt, … READ MORE

Down East Basics – Spring Finds

Down East Basics at the Irvine Spectrum had a preview night of their Spring Collection. Isn’t this cute? I like how they pulled the yellows together with the teals. Their swimwear are super cute with cover-ups. They had a store full of vibrant pieces perfect for Spring. It was really hard to decide what jacket or sweater to purchase because there were so many cute ones, but I’m happy I walked away with this sweater which I wore out to dinner with my family the following weekend. I just paired it with a white t-shirt, some leggings and boots. So what do you think? Down East Basic – Irvine is located … READ MORE
