You’ve heard of Ugly Christmas Sweaters, but have you heard of Ugly Christmas Sweater Suits and Dresses? Okay, what about matching ones for the whole family? SHINESTY offers them in various Holiday patterns in ugly Christmas sweater suits, ugly Christmas blazers, ugly Christmas dresses, Hanukkah sweaters, overalls and more! I own three of the wrap dresses. I especially like the wrap dresses, because they are flattering for my body type. A word of caution – they are sexy so I wear a tank underneath to keep it family-friendly. They have new prints every year. At parties I definitely stand out from the others, and I get a lot of compliments. Dressing up is not only fun and festive, you only get one chance to make a lasting impression. This year will look different, because we are trying to stay low-key and safe, but I still want to dress up and look my best.

This year I received a new dress from Shinesty which I love. It came in their new Christmas Tree Camo print. You can wear them with boots or with high heels. I also own the Vintage Millennial Snowflake and the Navy Nordic which you can see below. They also sent me some pajamaralls in their 50 Shades of Santa. They run a little big, but they are definitely comfortable. They also make them for men.
Here’s one for the men! My husband’s nephew has a great sense of humor. I thought he would be a perfect recipient of a Shinesty Christmas Suit. He’s wearing their Elfortless Ensemble with Elf Hats. He told me that he was surprised that it actually fits, and he didn’t have to make any alterations. I think he looks great and will definitely be the life of the party! Every year the family has an ugly sweater contest. Do you think he will win? I think he has a good chance!
Family Matching Outfits for Christmas
A few years ago Shinesty sent my family a set in the Navy Nordic print. Although we requested sizes that we think would fit us the best, it need some alterations. I thought the price point was reasonable. My husband was like, “Wow, these are ugly.” LOL I got him to at least try them on for this photoshoot. I thought they were weird, but fun. We were all cracking up. Everyone should have at least one in their closet, because you never know when you have an Ugly Christmas Sweater party. You will get everyone’s attention for sure! Everyone thinks they’re weird but that’s the whole point. You wear it loud and proud, Hon! For more selections, check out their website at www.shinesty.com.

“We created Shinesty for one reason and one reason only: To bring you the most outlandish collection of clothing the world has ever seen. When worn correctly, the right clothing can make Mike Tyson’s albino tiger purr like a kitten, blow the minds of boringly-dressed onlookers, or be a major contributing factor in the creation of a small human that looks strikingly similar to you. Whether you are searching for a rare retro piece, enough neon to blind the 80s, or simply something that would make Chuck Norris weep with pride, Shinesty is here to help. Stay Weird & Shine On.”
