April is National Autism-Awareness Month. I will be sharing resources throughout next month (primarily on my facebook page) that were helpful to us when we started out on our journey. Looking for something uniquely fun for Halloween? A few weeks ago, we attended a special media preview of Second Screen Live: The Nightmare Before Christmas (available now in select theaters). You may have recalled that we attended another one of these – Disney’s Second Screen Live: Little Mermaid. My MNO: Shopping, Happy Hour, and a Movie!

This month’s Mom’s Night Out for me was a shopping day, happy hour, and a movie with my girlfriends. The Outlets at Orange (formally The Block of Orange) because they had 3 major department stores: Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Last Call Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom Rack. WON’T BACK DOWN is Heartfelt and Inspiring!

I was invited to a pre-screening this week for the new upcoming movie of Won’t Back Down and was asked to write a review. This movie was inspired by actual events and the works of dedicated parents, teachers and advocates across the country. It is about two moms (one was a teacher) who had nothing in common other than they did not want their children to get lost in the system.
