Aquarium of the Pacific’s Annual Urban Ocean Festival Ticket Giveaway!

The Aquarium of the Pacific is hosting its 8th annual Urban Ocean Festival on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30, 2017. Learn more about our Pacific waters off Southern California and the diverse group of animals that live among the coast. Festivities will include art exhibitions, the Trashin’ Fashion Show and contest for designs using recycled materials, mural painting, poetry readings, booths, live band performances, educational activities, sustainable seafood tastings, and more.

Aquarium of the Pacific – Sea Jellies

The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach California added more jellyfish throughout the aquarium. My favorite jelly fish are the Upside Down Jellies found in the Tropical Pacific Gallery, but they don’t picture well because of the gray pewter colors. You can find jellies in all different sizes and shapes, and they’re just fun to watch. Pictured below are Spotted Lagoon Jellies, Pacific Sea Nettles, Moon Jellies, and the Redeye Medusa. They also have a designated area where you can touch Jellies which makes a great learning experience. Cool Finds Inside New Orlean’s Audubon Aquarium of the Americas #TT

We love aquariums! They’re not only educational, but observing sea creatures are just fascinating. You would think all aquariums are the same, but they all have animals unique to their local regions that we like to explore. Which is why we reached out for tickets to review the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, Louisiana. Highlights include animals from Louisiana’s fishing industry, the white alligator in the Mississippi River Gallery, and a giant shark tank at the Gulf of Mexico Exhibit. Geaux Fish!
